Blake Lively Scales Kensington Palace to Repair Met Gala Dress Display

Blake Lively performed royal duties at a Kensington Palace fashion show after noticing that her 2022 Met Gala costume, which was on display, did not seem quite right.

You already know you love her, and this will further fuel your fire.

Blake Lively recently took matters into her own hands when she visited Kensington Palace’s Crown to Couture exhibition, which features her Met Gala costume from 2022. When her Versace gown inspired by the Statue of Liberty did not seem properly draped, the Gossip Girl star just jumped the rope dividing the exhibits to perfect how the skirt fell.

“When you are the zany who jumps over the rope at the gallery to fix the exhibition,” she said on her Instagram Story on July 25 while seeing a video of the occurrence.”Happy nearly-Virgo season, folx.”

In the video, the 35-year-old can be seen squinting down to maintain good posture while flirting with the audience in the hemline of her dress.

Blake also uploaded a photo of herself with the crown and jewels she wore with the gown, as well as two of the people that assisted in making the occasion possible.

“With my sisters, the genius and unmatched@lorraineschwartz and@ofira jewels,” she recognized the photograph.” It was quite strange. Seeing this Kensington crown that we constructed

The Met Gala’s Best-Dressed Stars in 2023 “Every time I get to wear a gown and espoused jewels out,” she said, “I still feel like a sprat playing dress up.””Just to see it immortalized in this way.” Wow. That is a commodity I will never forget.”

Blake’s look from fashion’s biggest night is one of numerous jaw-dropping dresses on show at the Palace’s exhibition, which was created to highlight how modern-day celebrities draw inspiration from the lavish clothes of the Georgian Royal Court in the 18th century.

Beyoncé’s gold Peter Dundas gown from the 2017 Grammy Awards is on display, as is Lizzo’s bright Thom Browne ensemble from the 2022 Met Gala, and Billie Eilish’s peach Oscar de la Renta gown from the previous time’s Gala.
